A mid-'50s quintet that made one Verve recording in Miami. The personnel included tenor saxophonist and flutist Gus Maas, pianist Bebo Nacre, bassist Kiki Hernandez, drummer Bill Britto and Roland Alfonso on congas. They were a low-key, pleasant unit, and the music was nicely played, if forgettable....
