Ravens Sign WR Jeremy Maclin to a Two-Year Deal

The Baltimore Ravens and free-agent wide receiver Jeremy Maclin have agreed to a two-year contract, according to NFL.com.

Maclin is a proven veteran who most recently played for the Kansas City Chiefs and the Ravens hope he can help fill the void left by the retiring Steve Smith Sr.

Maclin caught 44 passes with two touchdowns last season for the Chiefs in 12 games while dealing with a groin injury. In 2015, he had 87 receptions for 1,088 yards and 8 TDs.

Jeremy played the first 5 of his 7 NFL seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles. In his career, Maclin has 474 receptions for 6,395 yards and 46 touchdowns. He made the Pro Bowl in 2014 for the Eagles when he had career highs with 1,318 receiving yards and 10 TD catches.

With the signing, it looks like Jimmy's Seafood is on the hook to provide Mr. Maclin with a boatload of free crabcakes. Don't pass this one up.
