WATCH: Chris Davis Smashes Two Extra-Innings Home Runs to Lead O's to Win

The Orioles' Chris Davis did what he does best and powered the O's past the Detroit Tigers 13-11 in 13 innings.

Davis launched two home runs, a solo one in the top of the 12th inning and again in the 13th with one runner on. The O's went up 11-8, but the Tigers managed to keep the game going after three RBI singles. Davis put the boys up again the next inning and this time the lead held. According to ESPN, Davis is only the second player ever to hit two homers in the 12th inning or later.

Chris could have easily had 3 home runs in the game. In the third inning, he sent a Chad Bell fastball deep to center field that hit the wall, ending up in a double and an RBI.

The Orioles were ahead 7-1 in the third inning, but the Tigers managed to go ahead 8-7 after J.D. Martinez hit a grand slam off Brad Brach.

With two outs in the 9th, Mark Trumbo tied the game with a line drive homer that barely cleared the fence.
