Holy Cow! Omaha Beef Stops Traffic

Posted Thursday, June 21st 2012 @ 2pm

A semi hauling cattle overturned around 10:30 on northbound JFK at Q Street in Nebraska.  Cattle are roaming the area and there are reports of them being in both the north and southbound lanes.   Traffic on the JFK is at a standstill and drivers are asked to avoid the area.

Animal control and law enforcement are at the scene.  Traffic is being rerouted.

It will take time to round up the cattle and get them reloaded and to clean up a fuel spill from the overturned semi.
