Applicant Takes Recruiter's 'Color' Request Literally

() Note to self: If someone asks you to “add some color” to your application, they mean “be more descriptive.”

In the following email thread, which must be read bottom-to-top, recruiter Carl asks applicant Matthew why he wants to be a trader and advises him to add some color to his application.

Matthew took him literally.

Make sure you read bottom up!

We definitely agree with Business Insider on this one. Best line out of this exchange: “Please explain your rationale for the rainbow.”

Too much fun.
