Many of music's biggest acts and thousands of their fans will descend on Manchester, Tennessee over the next few days for the 12th edition of the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival. The four-day event gets under way today with performances from the Vaccines, Alt-J, Japandroids, Father John Misty, and many more.
Paul McCartney, Wilco, and Animal Collective are among those set to keep things going on Friday, while Mumford & Sons will headline the festivities on Day Three. The British folk-rockers are coming off a tough week that saw bassist Ted Dwane undergo surgery to remove a brain clot from his brain. But the band says that won't keep them from taking the stage on Saturday.
Bonnaroo will come to a close Sunday with a headlining performance from Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, in addition to sets from the National, David Byrne and St. Vincent, Divine Fits, and others.
The full schedule for the entire festival is available now at Bonnaroo.com.
