Clay Aiken: Rihanna would have a hard time on 'American Idol'

(WENN) - Clay Aiken has suggested pop sensation Rihanna would struggle on American Idol because her singing isn't strong enough.

The former Idol contestant was asked which current chart star would fail to impress judges on the series, and he suggested Rihanna because of her "pitch problems."

He said, "Oh God, there is too many. Too many... Current pop singer? I've stopped listening to them because they can't sing. (I'll go with) Rihanna (because she) has some pitch problems for sure. She does... Now I'm gonna get in trouble."
